Patty SVeterinary Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Patty and have been working here since 2022. I’m from Spokane but didn’t get into the animal care industry until a few years ago when I lived in Arizona. I started off working as a kennel assistant at an animal shelter. I did that for 2 years and then was asked to train on the job at the shelter’s spay/neuter and wellness clinic as an assistant. I did that for another year until I moved back home to the lovely PNW where I got a job at a general practice vet clinic that I was at for 4 years before coming to Union. In my spare time, I love reading books, watching movies, and going to my book club.

Justine BeauchampVeterinary Assistant
Hey y’all! Hey Mom, or Hey Dad! Most of the time you’ll hear me address you by one of those sayings if I’m bringing you back to an exam room. Hi! My name is Justine! My dog Bear and I have been living in Spokane now for about 5 years and this small town has slowly been growing on us. We are originally from the West side of this state, from the Seattle area up North in Everett, WA. My roots go much farther than you think, I’m also a proud Tribal member of Snoqualmie Indian Tribe and I love honoring my culture in anyway I possibly can. I originally wanted to follow the path of becoming a Police officer but instead I fell in love with the German Shepherd breed rather then the job. I started off as a kennel assistant back in 2018 and then slowly started to work my way to higher positions from there. Once I graduated high school in 2019, I already knew animals were my passion and who I was going to be as a person. I am working my way to be a licensed veterinary technician to further my education and knowledge to be better for your pets.

I took a short break from veterinary medicine a couple of years ago, and realized my heart was never fully in it unless I was working with animals. So here I am! I’m extremely glad to be back, and excited to be at Union Animal Hospital.
